About Pamela Watson
OSCE Trainer
Pam brings with her 26 years of experience in healthcare education and simulation-based training, with a career spanning the University of Massachusetts Medical School and, most recently, Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her expertise lies in recruiting, training, and managing standardized patients (SPs) to support high-quality clinical skills assessments for medical and healthcare learners.
In her role as OSCE Trainer, Pam will work closely with faculty and simulation staff to develop realistic patient scenarios, ensure accurate case portrayals, and uphold the integrity of Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs). Known for her keen attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills, she will oversee all aspects of standardized patients—including scheduling, SP performance feedback, and quality assurance—to create a seamless and impactful learning environment.
Pam’s dedication to learner-centered simulation contributes meaningfully to the training of compassionate, competent, and confident healthcare professionals.
Pam is from eastern Pennsylvania and has also lived in New Mexico, Massachusetts, Missouri, and Virginia. She is the proud mother of two sons and a loving grandmother to four grandchildren. Pam enjoys spending quality time with her family, growing in her faith in God, relaxing at the beach, and unwinding with a good TV show.
