Brianna Golden

Brianna Golden serves as the Administrative Research Coordinator at Meritus School of Osteopathic Medicine, where she supports the development and management of research infrastructure.

She joined MSOM in early 2025 with a background in public health and behavioral health research and operations. She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in biopsychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Over the course of her academic and professional careers, she has served as a research coordinator, teaching assistant, undergraduate research assistant, and metasynthesis research intern. She has experience supporting all phases of the research process, from idea development to dissemination.

Brianna believes research should be both rigorous and approachable, and she’s passionate about helping students gain confidence and clarity as they navigate the research process. Beyond her professional work, she enjoys hiking, climbing, reading, and playing with her cat, Alfred.

Areas of Interest:

  • Community-based interventions to improve youth safety and mental health
  • Trauma-informed approaches to support neurodivergent populations, with emphasis on safety, predictability, and relational development
  • Use of AI and digital tools to enhance social efficacy in neurodivergent youth
  • Research ethics and accessibility
