About Alyssa Holt, MS
Academic Support Assistant
Alyssa Holt serves as Academic Support for the Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at the Meritus School of Osteopathic Medicine. After serving in the United States Navy, Alyssa completed her Master of Psychology, focusing on applied behavior analysis, at Purdue University.
Alyssa is an accomplished healthcare and behavioral science professional with extensive experience in clinical research and data analysis. She comes to MSOM from Johns Hopkins University where she conducted neurocognitive testing and provided research support across several NIH-funded studies, including Atherosclerosis Risk in Communities (ARIC), Aging and Cognitive Health Evaluation in Elders (ACHIEVE), and Multi-airway Research Collaboration (MARC). Alyssa brings a strong background in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, performance improvement, and participant engagement.
With a career spanning behavioral health, academic support, and clinical research, Alyssa has worked with diverse populations—from children with autism and developmental disabilities to elderly participants in longitudinal health studies. Alyssa is known for her precision in data management, observational assessment, and her collaborative approach with interdisciplinary teams. She has trained staff in neurocognitive protocols, supported educational professionals in implementing behavioral interventions, and provided direct care in acute hospital settings.
